In the Aegean, everything the sea touches turns soft. Stones lose their corners, shells curl in on themselves, and the marble step of a harbour chapel is worn into a gentle hollow by a thousand summers of bare feet.
Glypta comes from the Greek γλυπτά, “sculpted things”, and the collection begins there: with a pebble turned over in the palm, a sea star left behind by the tide, the wing of a gull held against the light. Each piece in The Sculpted Collection is a small sculpture for the hand, made in solid brass and named after a Greek island.
Shapes from the islands
KALYMNOS Star Knob
A four-pointed star with soft, pinched tips, like a sea star smoothed by the tide. It measures 50 × 33 mm and fixes with a single screw.

AEGINA Wing Pull
A tapered blade shaped like a gull’s wing, 98 mm long. Two screws 64 mm apart hold it straight on doors and drawers alike.

KIMOLOS Sculpted Handles
A slim grip with a pinched centre ridge on rounded feet, like a shoreline drawn in one continuous stroke. Available with 128 or 160 mm between the screws.

TILOS Cone Knob
A cone crowned with a ball, in three styles: Smooth, Spiral and Fluted. The Smooth style also comes in Satin Brass.

The rest of the collection:
- ANAFI: a pointed ridge with a polished bead
- ANDROS: a softly squared bar on two short posts
- CHIOS: a rounded plate with a hammered face
- IKARIA: a curved bean
- KASOS: a slim wire bar between two ball ends
- KEA: a T-bar knob, cross or front bar
- KYTHNOS: a squared block with a curled fold
- LEROS: a curved grip on broad flared feet
- NISYROS: a polished dome
- PAXOS: a rounded crescent cup
- POROS: a flat plate on knurled posts, as handles or a T-knob
- SAMOS: a rounded bow on two end plates
- SERIFOS: a round arched bar on two feet
- SKIATHOS: a square flap curling down from a ball
- SKYROS: a long rounded pebble
- SYMI: a smooth bean
How to choose
Knob, pull or handle
Single-screw knobs are the simplest to fit, needing one hole per door or drawer: IKARIA, KALYMNOS, KEA, NISYROS, SYMI and TILOS.
Two-screw pulls are knob-sized but fixed at two points, so they won’t twist in use. They suit doors and small drawers:
Handles come in standard hole-to-hole sizes:
- SERIFOS: 96, 128 and 160 mm
- KIMOLOS: 128 and 160 mm
- LEROS: 96 and 160 mm
- KASOS: 96, 128 and 192 mm
- SAMOS: 96 mm
If you are replacing handles, measure between the existing holes and choose the matching size. POROS pairs plate handles with a matching single-screw T-knob.
A rule of thumb for size
Designers often size a drawer handle at about a third of the drawer’s width, and use knobs or short pulls on doors and small drawers. You can mix the shapes freely: knobs on the doors and handles on the drawers, all from the same collection and in the same finish.
Two measurements worth knowing
- Hole-to-hole (centre to centre) is the distance between the two screw holes. This is the number to match when you replace existing handles.
- Projection is how far the piece stands out from the cabinet face. Across the collection it runs from 20 mm (SYMI) to 36 mm (SERIFOS and TILOS). More projection leaves more room for your fingers.
Every piece comes with M4 × 25 mm screws. If your doors or drawer fronts are thicker, message us and we will send longer ones.
Finish and care
The collection is finished in Polished Nickel, a bright, mirror-like finish over solid brass. TILOS Smooth also comes in Satin Brass. To keep the finish bright, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive pads and harsh cleaners. All pieces are for interior use.
