Fan Speed Controls

• Rated at 120VAC, 60Hz
• Designed for ceiling paddle fans only
• Supports one fan per control (do not connect multiple fans)
• Copper wiring only

Important – Read Before Installing

Turn off breaker before installation
Wiring must follow all applicable NEC / CEC / national + local electrical codes
Use copper wires only
Do not use for:
– Receptacles
– Fluorescent lighting
– Transformers or motor appliances
– Any appliance supplied by a transformer
Wall box must include separate wiring for fan and light (controls each individually)
Not compatible with smart fan built-in systems (standard control replacement only)
If no ground means exists in the wall box → cap or remove the green ground wire per NEC 380-9 (b) exception

Notice

• Not smart-system compatible — replaces gear or standard stepped/stepless switches only
• Turn dial ½ rotation to activate fan (initial power needed to start motor), then adjust normally
• Sudden speed drop? You may be between gears — rotate slightly more to resume as expected
• For best performance, fine-tune the dial past gear gaps when adjusting
